Grey Ox Meadows
William Dickie is very proud to be recently commissioned by the
Lucknow Reunion Committee & the town of Huron Kinloss to create a
life-size sculpture of Donald Dinnie, the Scottish Strongman.
He has been recognized as "The Nineteenth Century's Greatest Athlete",
who participated in the Lucknow Caledonia Games in 1882.
These games boomed for about 20 years in the village and has made
Donald Dinnie a folk hero and par t of the lore of Lucknow.
